After finishing his B.Sc. of Economics and Business Administration, Nicholas Valentin Lingnau studied Business Informatics (M.Sc.) at the Goethe University Frankfurt. For his master’s thesis, he built a web app to research the effects of design updates on users.

Nicholas Valentin Lingnau gained teaching experience as a tutor of Business Informatics at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Goethe University Frankfurt. Furthermore, he acquired practical experience by working as an intern at Deutsche Bank in the Department of IT-Strategy & Architecture.

Since October 2019, he is a Research Associate at the Chair of Information Systems Engineering of Prof. Dr. Roland Holten. His research focuses on crowdfunding and online communities.
